The Hogarth Singers kick off their busy year with spring term rehearsals and a Choral Workshop.
Starting January 15, the choir dives into works by Pergolesi, Purcell, Monteverdi, and Bach. New members, especially tenors and basses, enjoy discounted subscriptions for the first term. Rehearsals begin at 7:30 pm at St Michael and All Angels Church, Bath Road, W4 1TT.
Preparations lead to the Spring Concert on March 16, 7:30 pm, at the same venue.
On February 24, a Choral Workshop directed by Scott Inglis-Kidger features Easter music at St Michael’s Church, Elmwood Road, (W4 3DZ). Tickets at £20 include music and refreshments but not lunch.
Established from IBM's The Meistersingers in the 1980s, the Hogarth Singers promote choral music and public education. Membership, spanning 50-60 people, embraces a diverse choral repertoire. Visit hogarthsingers.uk, email hogarthsingers@gmail.com, or call 07341 413884 for details.
