A murder inquiry unfolds as joggers discover an unconscious man in Hanworth Park, identified as 19-year-old Tyler Donnelly from Feltham.
Authorities confirm he was fatally stabbed.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, spearheading the investigation, disclosed: "Citizens alerted us around 7:40 am upon finding a male body in Hanworth Park. The victim, Tyler Donnelly, 19, hailed from Feltham."
Donnelly left his residence at approximately 9:10 pm on Wednesday, pedaling along Elmwood Avenue before entering the park, where he never returned. Howie implores potential witnesses: "Regardless of your presence in the park, if you noticed anything, please reach out. Our primary objective is uncovering the events surrounding Tyler's demise."
He also urges individuals traveling through Elmwood Avenue, especially those on the H25 bus route, to come forward if they encountered Donnelly or observed any relevant activity.
The victim's family and friends will receive specialized support as the investigation progresses. Meanwhile, a significant crime scene perimeter remains intact, with ongoing police patrols to reassure the community.
Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson extends sympathies and encourages cooperation with law enforcement to apprehend the perpetrators.
