An octogenarian cyclist was transported to a major trauma center on Wednesday afternoon (10/01) after being struck by a car in Chiswick.

At approximately 12:49, the police responded to Heathfield Terrace following reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle.

The cyclist received on-site treatment for a head injury, with assessments indicating that his injuries are not life-threatening.

According to a spokesperson from the London Ambulance Service, the incident occurred at 12:41 on January 10, involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Heathfield Gardens and Sutton Lane North in Chiswick.

Emergency resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and London's Air Ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. The injured man was treated for a head injury and transported to a major trauma center as a priority.
