Cocaine Bust in Acton Unveils Drug Trafficking Ring - Three Charged

Three individuals, Jose Manuel Perez De La Cruz (37) residing at Thomson House, Beckway; Ronny Sierra Guerrero (34) with no fixed address; and Nathanael Colado-Jiminez (30) from Western Avenue, Acton, are set to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 31st, facing charges of cocaine importation.

The charges stem from the interception of two shipments of bananas arriving at Portsmouth International Port from the Dominican Republic, one on Saturday, January 20th, and the other on Friday, January 26th. Upon inspection, UK Border Force officers unearthed hidden cocaine concealed within the cardboard packaging of the shipments.

Following the seizure, Met Specialist Crime officers launched an intensive investigation, laboring tirelessly to gather additional evidence. Their relentless efforts led them to an address in Acton, where they executed a search warrant and subsequently apprehended the occupants. Subsequently, Perez De La Cruz, Sierra Guerrero, and Colado-Jiminez were charged in connection with the drug importation.

The swift and decisive actions of law enforcement authorities underscore their commitment to combatting drug trafficking and ensuring the safety and security of communities.
